jw, on the top one, how come the top drive's cover flipped down whereas the bottom, stayed on the front of the tray?? again, ill give it a 5 :-)

All the G4 towers only had one 5.25" drive bay. The hack was adding another 5.25" drive (the bottom one, originaly a 3.5" bay). I wanted to do that hack to my Blue and White, but couldn't because of the processor/heatsink location. Would you mind sharing with us how you did it?

I couldn't get a door assembly like the one that came with the tower, so I used the blank plate and epoxy... not as cool as a second door, but the best I could do.

I just had an idea: What if you could pick up an imac DV slotloading drive and make it fit in the bottom one? That way, you may not have to do as much cutting to the outside metal.
