Default Please help: SYNGERY Mac 10.6.2 and Windows 7

Hi, I am having some difficulties with Synergy.

This is my set up:

[MAC] Think center Lenovo Intel core 2 v pro (running mac OS x 10.6.2)
[PC] Vento A8 (running Windows 7 Ultimate)

I have a wireless card and a wired card in the PC. It is bridged so the wireless comes into the PC and goes out to the Mac with a single Ethernet cable.

The mac has an Ip address of 192.168.0.4 and the PC is 192.168.0.5 but then when i go to myIPaddress.com they both have the same ip address.

I want to be able to take the keyboard and mouse from the PC and be able to control the mac.

On the mac I have SynergyKM installed under 'General' I have selected the proper config (Connect to a shared keyboard and mouse). Under Client config the server ip or host name is 192.168.0.5 (the ip of the PC). Also it just keeps saying 'LOOKING FOR PEERS'

On the PC I have Synergy 1.3.1 installed I have chosen the 'Share this computer's keyboard and mouse (server)' as for the config for the screen names I have used the Screen names... MAC = iMac PC= Sean-PC

My questions are these:

1. Should I be using these ips 192.168.0.4/192.168.0.5 or should I be using the ones like this 96.55.x.x?

2. Will my config even work using the bridge? Or would each computer need its own internet source?

3. If each computer needs its own internet source then would this work
Wireless into PC Wired out to D-LINK wired router Then from the router to the MAC and also how would I configure the IPs on the router?

Thanks very much in advance I have been working on this for a bit now and I have done some searching on Google but everything just leads back to how to set it up on the PC or how to set it up on the mac which I have done except it still doesn't work.

Default Maybe we should break this down?

Ok, so I believe I have pin pointed the problem to the IP addresses. I read on Google, after a lot more searching, that because the two computers have the same ips and MAC address that, that is why they can not see each other therefor Synergy can't see the other computer even though I have told it that it is there.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SET UP:
The 'PC' has a wireless card and a wired card. I have a wireless signal going into the PC. The wireless and wired connection is bridged in Win 7 Ultimate, to allow a wired connection to come out from the PC.

Now, I take an Ethernet cable and go from the PC to a Di-604.

-Should I plug the Ethernet cable from the PC in the one of the 4 slots or should i plug it into the 'UP-LINK' slot?

I plug another cable from one of the 4 slots on the router to go to the iMac.

Now both computers have internet as long as the PC is turned on of course.

**The wireless router is on another floor of the house and there for just running wires from the router to the Mac is not possible.***
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's the problem: Both computers have the same IP address. Yes they both have different internal ips (ex. PC= 192.168.0.5 MAC=192.168.0.4) The external IPs are the ones that are the same (96.55.x.x)

BIG QUESTION: How do I get it where each computer has a different internal and external IP address (PC= 192.168.0.5 and 96.55.1.2 & MAC= 192.168.0.4 and 96.55.4.8)

SO... If I disable DHCP will it then fix my problem??
