The BIG PICTURE: The Importance of Art in Watchmen

While the art is consistent in the superhero style of the times, it is the plot and story that is usually seen as groundbreaking material. But Moore cannot be given all the credit because this is, in fact, a comic book and not a novel. That is to say, there are visual elements to the story that are just as important, if not more so, than the plot.
