Well, yeah, you did, but the Cheap Bar Stewards are also cheap drunks... so by the time we drank the toast(s) we were too f***ed up to stand, let alone 'salud' ya.

I'd post sum kinda birthday-cake smilie, but I have a hard enough time using the ones here, let alone finding all the ones that you find.

Guys (generically speaking) - this place is dying around our ears. Not just HB&G II, but the entire site.

What can we do to get the joint jumping again?

C'mon... reply to this, even if it's been a LONG time since you've been here. It doesn't matter if you've just come back after a long absence, or having been lurking, waiting for something to happen. Few of us have actually died, or given up surfing the 'net or posting. What would it take to bring you back, and a couple of your old-time buddies? Post it here, in Herve's, just the way that you would tell a buddy over a beer at your local watering-hole.

This forum was a special place to a lot of people. Active, useful, fun... It doesn't really matter what happened before - especially since different things hit different people different ways. What really matters is NOW. We have a site with a ton of cool features already in place, some very patient new owners ( Jeez, amazing that they haven't just 404'd us yet!!! ) and a member list that has some of the TRUE elite of the Mac community ... us. Even the 'Woz himself liked us, and iDev's Carlos Camacho gave us a interview when he wasn't talking to ANYBODY!

Take a minute or two. Say something. Why did you move on? Policies? Topics? Boredom?

Even if you only want to say "You suck now.", say WHY we suck now. Was it the monkey?

BTW, I posted this here because this thread is open to all members, but not accessible to unregistered types, brand-new posters and spam-bots.
