Ok... me and my 1438 WU's joined the Group!

Currently I have three computers running Seti... I plan on adding one more soon. (PB G3/500 OSX Cmd-line, iMac 233 Cmd-Line, P II/366-WinNT ScrnSvr)

Please explain this SETI to me. I know the basics, about searching for extraterrestrial life forms and all that stuff, but beyond that, I'm not with it. We crunch as a team, right?

So come on, whos' gonna give me the low down.

Mostly we are processing data from the Arecibo radio telescope. We are looking for any signals that might be out of the ordinary from basic background noise in space.

Teams compete to see how many units that their team can process, most of us are coming over from Team Macaddict which is in 6th place on the "Clubs" list. Currently we are pretty much at the bottom of the list, but we can work on moving up the ranks of the Mac faithful.
