I am using my .mac account name for AIM, but some people (windows users) cant contact me, and they just show up as off line to me.
Are .mac account names not compatible with some AIM clients or could something else be wrong?

As far as I'm concerned, you can only see/talk to those who have .Mac accounts. If you want to talk to your regular buddies, you'll just have to login with your AIM account.

try downloading iChat AV I found the problem, it is just that some older AIM clients dont support the @mac.com screen names
