Gimp Print

I am confused about Gimp Print, I have a 733 running 10.2.4 connected to a HP 990 CSE printer. I use the X print center and have never installed a specific driver for this printer. (It just works). My question is should I and why should I install GIMP print on the machine ?

Don't bother installing Gimp-print if your printer works fine. Use it when your printer doesn't work fine - then it's a great piece of software to have.
