Are you sure it's in your root directory (I mean /)?

Not in /sw?

It seems like you have installed a package outside of the right directories.

By the way, if it's really your root directory, you have a serious problem with permissions, unless you want everybody write in this directory.

This files belong to /sw/lib.

So, unless you made a mistake about the directory where those files are located, you have seriously messed up your installation.

And, idem, if those files are in /sw/lib, your permissions are wrong.

Before fixing permissions we must try to determine what package it was, to put it where it belongs and fixing symbolic links.

I'm a bit surprised about the dates.

I update Fink via cvs daily and the date for me are later than yours, so do you by chance work with the experimental Fink cvs? Or do you compile package yourself?

So maybe there is a problem with Virex (it has been reported that they use the /sw folder to put their stuff, so maybe they use also /, but if they change the permissions as I see yours, it's fatal.

I've searched for dependencies on Fink. libcurl and libcrypto and libssl are related to open-ssl and curl-ssl. I did not find any obvious dependencies for libdl.

As your date is 14 January you could search in /Library/Receipts for a package installed or updated on this date.

If it's really Virex, maybe you could go to the Virex site, to see if there are any advice on this problem. (there are a bunch of exchanges between Virex and Fink, so maybe there is a FAQ on the Virex's site).
