iTunes won't open for one Tiger use account

I tried to search for info on this topic and will try checking the user prefs from an older iTunes thread. I don't think its the same issue though. I have one user account that is not able to access their iTunes on Tiger. There is 13+GB space and it is only ONE user account with the problem. I did find that iTunes was set on 'HIDE' in the login items and corrected that. It still will not open.

** Problem resolved - found some info and followed the instructions to take the 'genius files' out of the iTunes folder and put them on the desktop. I have since trashed the old files because this worked and new files are generated.


NOTE: I'm not so good as an administrator because in this account I have to constantly authenticate every thing I want to do. Every time I want to restart to another HD I have to 'authenticate' in this account. What am I doing WRONG?? Please tell me how to keep the changes. I have no problems selecting startup disk from the other accounts on this HD.

Attached is the error message. Well there would be if I didn't get an error msg from macfora saying my jpg file was not valid
oh well
