Hi there.
Since I now have upgraded to Tiger I was wondering if there was any way, via some 3:rd party software (or any way possible) to move over my iPod songs over to my newly installed iTunes 4.

I have checked Versiontracker and there seems to be one software doing the trick but it only works on iTunes 1.3 (well, so they say).

How do you move your tunes over to iTunes now when running on Tiger?
Or is it not possible yet because of lack of up to date software?

Regards,

Gambit

Hey Gambit, I just did a quick search on versiontracker, and there are several options. It looks like Senuti deals with 4.9.

Apple changed the iTunesDB slightly with iTunes 4.9. This is a quick fix using the old 0.27 source code. I'm working on fixing the minor bugs reported in 0.27, but this one was major enough to deserve some attention.

One thing I did was I placed my iTunes music folder (from Panther on a external HD) and moved it into my Music folder in home.. It seemed to put all my music in correctly.

Yocona and i_me-mac: I'll check your tips out. Thanks!
Macboy: But of course. Only...I did not back up my music on to a external HD or rip it to a CD. Backed up everything else but not that.

Regads,
Gambit
