I discovered this tip from looking at how others were taking their pictures.
Sure made a difference in the output. Tilt the camera to the portrait position
instead of the landscape position. I use the free Calico panorama software
but for $30 the water marks can be removed after registration.

Pretty nice. Good suggestion about using portrait position, although it's hard to do with my tripod because of the positioning of the mount socket on the camera.

My trouble taking panorama pictures arises when I try to take a shot series of something closer (like a room) where perspective really messes with a seamless stitch. I've noticed that you have posted on images and image viewing... any suggestions - technique or program - for closeup panorama shots?

I sort of misread the title of this thread.

I thought it said: 'Taking Paranoia Pictures'

Did I really misread it?

Or, did it really read that but someone changed it? Just to catch me out.
