OK, it's a little more like "TheAppleDoctor Sits Very Carefully In The Saddle Again", but that doesn't sound as romantic. :D

Never one to do things the normal way, I managed to f**k myself up in a way that left me with a five-inch incision instead of the expected one-inch one, and a minimum of six weeks recovery time as opposed to four. Oh well, I have always believed that anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Wednesday I was given the OK to start walking further than from the couch to the bathroom, so that afternoon I went out with the dogs for about a half-mile. Yeah, well. :rolleyes: Yesterday was more like a quarter-mile, and NOT up the hill and into the woods. A far cry from the five-to-eight miles I usually do in a day, but a start.

So... all this time I thought that you really ought to have Something To Say before you start blogging, but after seeing multiple blogs I realize that all you need is enough egotism to believe that someone will actually care about what you have to say. Kinda like a diary that you HOPE your little brother will read.

Right now I am waiting for Thursday, when I get to go have some surgery on yet another thing that I managed to do to myself (a hernia). I have been off work for about two weeks, and will be off a minimum of four afterwards. Maybe more, depending on how this old mistreated body heals, but no less. So... la la la, life is fun. Oh yeah.

We're seriously mulling over adding the photo classifieds section in this site, with some who are eager and willing, while the others are finding it simply premature.

It'd be a waste to just throw in features without any serious consideration as to its widespread use. But it also begs the question: if not now, when?
